Types of Resin Flooring Solutions:
Resin flooring is available in several types, each designed to meet specific performance and aesthetic needs. Below are the most popular options we offer at Color Lab, each with unique advantages and applications.

Vinyl Flake Epoxy
Flake flooring is a top-tier coating option for Saudi Arabian customers who want to improve traction and durability on their floor. We add vinyl flakes to a specially prepared tinted polyaspartic base coat to create this unique finish.

Polished Concrete
Polished concrete is the ideal way to improve your space longevity while maintaining concrete's industrial look and feel. Concrete polishing creates a smooth, sealed surface that will eliminate dust and resist staining.
Our customers across KSA choose to add a polished concrete floor to their kitchens, patios, and garages with a polyaspartic sealant for additional protection from staining.

Concrete Seal
The high temperature in KSA ruins decorative concrete finishes faster than anything else, leading to substantial concrete expansion and pop-outs, spalling. Pavix penetrating sealer will protect the concrete from moisture and strengthen it, ensuring floor longevity.

Metallic Epoxy
The Color Lab metallic epoxy coating gives a brilliant finish to any existing concrete surface. It’s 100% solid coating is engineered with metallic additives to produce a dynamic color-changing effect.

Polyaspartic Flooring
This floor coating has mainly been used in commercial/industrial spaces over the years and it is a proven choice for high-traffic and industrial environments. If you want to create a durable and lasting floor for your commercial space, polyaspartic flooring is one of the best types of epoxy flooring to consider.

Explore Our Step by Step Resin Flooring Application:
01.
Preparing the surface
We start by cleaning the floor thoroughly to remove any dust, dirt, or stains in order to make resin stick to the floor. After cleaning the floor, our team uses a cleaning or degreasing agent to remove any oil stains or spills.

02.
Acid Etching
The first step in acid etching is moisturizing the floor. We Spray the floor with a garden hose to wet the concrete, then we mix one part muriatic acid with three parts of water.
Once mixed, we use a plastic watering can to distribute the solution evenly over the area, and wait 10-15 minutes to create micro abrasions. Then rinse off the floor and Let it dry overnight.

03.
Resin Application
we start to mix the epoxy resin, tape off the perimeter and cut in the edges with a brush. Then we coat the floor evenly using a roller and allow the first layer to cure for at least 2 hours.

04.
Second coat and finishing
This includes applying a second resin layer with the same technique, then adding anti-slip and decorative flakes while the resin is still wet. Finally, we allow the floor to cure for 24 hours to ensure optimal hardness and durability.
