LAKIER EP-OPERATIONAL, DWUSKADER
CONDITION:
The product is a colourless, water-based, two-component epoxy varnish for decorative and protective coating of the surface of natural stone (e.g. sandstone) and artificial, including floors and metal surfaces. It is designed for painting various products made of rock materials of natural origin, as well as made of cement and various types of mineral aggregates. It can also be used for the maintenance of mosaic plaster, as well as to protect paint coatings giving them a shine, higher abrasion resistance and the ability to keep clean more easily. Coatings after drying are characterized by gloss, transparency, high hardness, but at the same time and flexibility, abrasion resistance, cracking and water, and many chemicals. Due to its decorative and protective qualities, it can be used indoors as well as outdoors. On natural stone, he reveals his only advantage, which consists in highlighting the drawing of the rock, its color and structure. It is based on high-quality, yellow-resistant epoxy resin. It does not contain harmful solvents or heavy metals.
PREPARATION OF SURFACE AND USE:
The product ready to be used after mixing with the hardener does not require dilution. Proper and careful preparation of the surface before painting is a basic condition for obtaining the right quality of coatings. The surface should be dry, dusted and clean. Remove the algae and lichens, thoroughly degrease. Fresh concrete surfaces can be painted no earlier than 4 weeks after application. After adding the hardener, mix thoroughly (at least for 2 minutes). Lacquer after mixing with the hardener should be used within 2 hours. Avoid rapid mechanical mixing, which can introduce air bubbles that can be difficult to remove and cause a slight cloudiness of the coating. Apply the coating evenly with a thin layer, avoiding excess. Too thick layer makes it difficult to dry out, which can manifest itself in the presence of white spots even after drying. This is a threat in the case of a substrate of high and uneven porosity, e.g. with sandstone, higher permeability concrete. Do not allow stains. To achieve a thicker layer (higher gloss) to paint several times.
IMPREGMENTATION. Lacquer can also be used for stone impregnation. To do this, dilute the varnish after mixing with the hardener, slowly adding water in a ratio of 1:4 (1 piece of varnish and 4 square water) and mix thoroughly. Apply 1-2 layers (depending on your need).
IMPORTANT!
Before putting the room into service, ventilate for odor loss. DO NOT USE WITHOUT UTWARDZACZA!
NOTES:
Do not change the recommended proportions lacquer: hardener. This can cause a significant reduction in the hardness of the coating. Do not paint outside during severe sunshine and rain. Do not paint wet and heated surfaces, e.g. as a result of severe sunlight. Protect by freezing. Keep out of reach of children.
HEALTH AND SAFETY RELATION:
Apply the usual precautions as when working with other water paint products.
Protect the eyes and surface of the skin from direct contact with the product.
