DEEPLY PENETRATING PREPARATION FOR PRIMING

DESTINY: 

SIL-GRUNT is a deeply penetrating, water-based preparation designed to prune the building surfaces inside the premises (regardless of the degree of moisture) and outside the buildings. It increases the adhesion, strengthening of the load capacity, unification of the absorbency and consistency of the substrate, while not hindering the process of so-called “breathing”. Prevents penetration of discoloration and stains. Reduces the wear of surface paints. It is recommended for use under high quality latex and silicone paints, ordinary emulsion and acrylic paints, heavy vinyl and fiberglass wallpaper, waterproofing masses, acrylic plastering masses, wall and floor ceramic tiles and for priming the substrate before pouring self-leveling floors. It can be used for a variety of building materials such as: plaster, concrete, bricks, gypsum and wood-based materials, drywall and plaster. Required for IZOLANIT liquidation weights from Pigment, under acrylic-silicone paint for concrete, roof paint and for the colored SILANIT 100 from Pigment (when the substrate is not uniform in terms of absorbency or moisture content, e.g. due to repairs).

THE ADVANTAGES:

Properly applied increases the adhesion of the paint, the unification of the absorbency and consistency of the substrate, at the same time does not interfere with the process of so-called “throots breathing”. In the case of fresh plasters, it does not hinder the maturation process, and on the color coatings it prevents the formation of stains and discolorations. The above features are the result of the use of a shredded polymer with extremely small particle size (so-called hydrosol), which are many times smaller than used in typical acrylic soils. This ensures deep penetration into the porous ground.

PREPARATION OF SURFACE AND USE:

In the case of new plasters, it is not necessary to prepare the substrate for special preparation, only the traces of oils should be removed. The surface designed for renewal should be thoroughly dusted, cleaned, remove loose flaps of paint, degrease. Completely remove the limestone and adhesive paints. Eliminate the glonia and mold with chemical preparations. Smooth surfaces to grind with sandpaper. Cracks to supplement with acrylic putty, larger cavities: inside -gage, outside and under mineral paints – cement mortar. Protruding non-remotable steel elements of coating with AKRYLEN GRUNT anti-corrosion paint from Pigment. Mix the contents of the package thoroughly. Use without dilution, in special cases SIL-GRUNT can be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:1 (i.e. 1 part of the preparation and 1 part of the water). Fresh cement-lime plaster should be painted no earlier than 3-4 weeks after application.
Avoid the excess. Do not allow gloss and stains to form on the surfaces.
